چکیده

We study additive double character sums over two subsets of a finite field. show that if there is suitable rational self-map small degree set $D$, then this contains large subset $U$ for which the standard bound on absolute value

Character sums over norm groups

In this paper, we give estimates of character sums of Weil type. They are associated with polynomials and rational functions with coefficients in a quadratic extension k2 of a finite field k of q elements, additive and multiplicative characters of k2, and summed over the kernel of the norm map from k× 2 to k×. The bounds are of the magnitude O( √ q) with the implied constant depending on the de...

Some two-character sets

Some new examples of two–character sets with respect to planes of PG(3,q2), q odd, are constructed. They arise from three–dimensional hyperbolic quadrics, from the geometry of an orthogonal polarity commuting with a unitary polarity. The last examples arise from the geometry of the unitary group PSU(3,3) acting on the split Cayley hexagon H(2). Dedicated to the memory of András Gács (1969-2009)

SOME SIMILARITY MEASURES FOR PICTURE FUZZY SETS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

In this work, we shall present some novel process to measure the similarity between picture fuzzy sets. Firstly, we adopt the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets and picture fuzzy sets. Secondly, we develop some similarity measures between picture fuzzy sets, such as, cosine similarity measure, weighted cosine similarity measure, set-theoretic similar...
